New Ulm Police

• Received a report about a two-vehicle crash without injuries on the 900 block of 4th Street S. at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday. Christopher J. Delaney, Madison Lake, was driving a 2000 Buick west on 4th St. S. and hit the left rear of a parked, unattended 2012 Kia. Both vehicles had severe damage.

• Received a report from New Ulm City Hall at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday of an email received from a sender claiming to be a former city employee, trying to change a city employee’s payroll information. Police are investigating the incident.

• Received an harassment restraining order violation complaint at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday from a 53-year-old New Ulm woman regarding herself and a 13-year-old New Ulm boy. It concerned likes posted on TikTok videos by a 47-year-old New Ulm man. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

• Received a vandalism report at 5:14 p.m. Tuesday from Martin Luther College. Suspects on surveillance video created graffiti with a permanent marker on an exterior wall of the Betty Kohn field house. Damage was estimated at $1,000. A report was done for documentation.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a gas drive-off report from Freedom Valu Center, 400 Main St. W., at 11:07 a.m. Tuesday. A suspect drove off without paying for $58 worth of gasoline about a week ago. A report was done for documentation.
