Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a suspicious activity call at 5:06 p.m. May 7. A syringe was found on U.S. Highway 14 in Home Township.

New Ulm Police

• Received a report at 10:48 a.m. May 8 of stolen jewelry valued at $1,000 sometime in the past month on Camelsback Road. A report was done for documentation.

• Arrested a 23-year-old New Ulm woman on a probation violation at 1010 1/2 German St. S. at 8:21 p.m. May 8. The woman was transported to the Brown County Jail.

• Received a suspicious activity call from a Linderhof Apartments resident at 2:44 a.m. May 9. A 30-year-old New Ulm woman was transported to the Brown County Evaluation Center, Detox Division at 2:44 a.m. after a breath test registered .236.

Sleepy Eye Police

• Stopped a Sleepy Eye man for driving with a headlight out at 8:49 p.m. May 7 at 2nd Ave. S.E. and Water St. S.E. The man failed a breath test and was transported to the Brown County Jail.

Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a two-vehicle, t-bone crash at 8:39 a.m. at the intersection of Birch Street and Eighth Avenue in Lamberton. Brandon J. Juenemann, 31, Lamberton, said he was trying to move his 1969 International pickup from the roadside when the engine quit and he was struck by a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by Emma Stevenson, 19, Lamberton. Damage was severe to the Ford. It was transported by Nelson’s Towing. Truck damage was moderate. No injuries were reported. The City of Lamberton assisted.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash on TH 19 at CR 17, Arlington Township, Sibley County at 5:32 p.m. May 8. A 2015 Chevy Sonic driven by James Harmon, 34, Owatonna, was southbound on CR 17 when he collided with a 2007 Honda Accord driven by Mark Bergstrom, 38, Forest Lake, who was eastbound on Highway 19. Harmon and three passengers, Annette Gonzalez, 30, Owatonna; a one-year-old female and a two-year-old male were transported to an Arlington hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
