New Ulm Police

* Noticed a 28-year-old New Ulm man suspected of burglary and stopped him at 3rd St. S and Minnesota St. at 3:15 p.m. Monday. The man was arrested and taken to jail. He is suspected of stealing $3,700 in cash plus a camera with memory cards and a phone after making forced entry at a residence on the 800 block of N. Spring St. April 10. Estimated value of the camera and equipment was not available. A report was sent to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

* Received a scam/fraud report in Hanska Township at 12:57 p.m. Monday. A man said he wanted to buy a $1,000 camper trailer on Craig’s List but did not do so after he was asked to pay for it with Ebay gift cards.
