New Ulm Police

* Received a theft report on the 600 block of South Front Street at 8:31 a.m. Monday. A wallet was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle. Credit cards including a bank card were reported taken. The suspect withdrew $100 and $200 with the card from two New Ulm banks. Police are working with video footage provided by the banks.

* A 27-year-old New Ulm man at 1508 S. German reported Monday he lost money to a woman he met on Facebook. The man and the woman traded sexual photos of each other before the woman asked for $200 or she would post them publicly on Facebook. The man sent the woman the money. She later asked for $800 or she would post the photos. The man did not pay the woman and called police.

* Responded to a theft report from an unlocked vehicle on the 500 block of South Front Street Monday. The caller reported losing two pair of sunglasses valued at $115, an $80 power inverter and $300 to $400 worth of compact discs.
