New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at 4th North and Front Street at 7:06 p.m. Thursday. A 2012 Toyota Prius driven by Nicolae G. Belfore, 35, Mankato, was southbound on Front Street when it collided with a 2004 Ford Escape driven by Colten J. Schaefer, 18, New Ulm, who was northbound on Front, tried to turn left onto 4th North and slid on ice, did not complete the turn and was hit in the rear passenger side. Damage to the Toyota was severe and disabling and moderate, disabling to the Ford. Both drivers wore seat belts.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash on CR 22, just north of the county line at 9:54 a.m. Dec. 9. A 2015 Chevy Silverado driven by Sarah Rubischko, 43, Gibbon, was northbound on CR 22, lost control on ice, entered the west ditch, rolled and came to rest on the driver side. She wore a seat belt and was not injured.
