Brown County Sheriff

• Responded to a personal injury accident at 8:48 p.m. Friday near the intersection of County Road 24 and County Road 11 in Sigel Township. Wayne Williams, 66, of rural Morgan was riding a motorcycle, heading west on County Road 24. According to the Sheriff’s office, he fell off his motorcycle while trying to avoid several deer that were crossing the road. He was transported by Allina Ambulance to New Ulm Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

New Ulm Police

• Stopped a 1999 Oldsmobile at 7:38 p.m. Friday near highway 14 and county road 29. A felony-level offense amount of marijuana and marijuana wax was found in the vehicle. The person is being held in Brown County Jail.

• Responded to a report of suspicious activity at 8:32 a.m. Saturday at 407 15th St. S. An investigation is continuing.
