New Ulm Police

• Received a two-vehicle crash report in snowy road conditions with injuries at 13th North and Franklin Street at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. A 2010 Ford Taurus driven by Patricia A. Schieffert, 76, New Ulm, was eastbound on 13th North, when it collided in an intersection with a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Raymond E. Oberley, 23, New Ulm, who was northbound on Payne. Both drivers wore seat belts. Schieffert reported chest and ribs soreness. Damage was moderate to the front end and right rear of the Ford and moderate to the front and left passenger side of the Chevrolet.

• Received a two-vehicle crash report without injuries on snowy road conditions at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Minnesota Street and 8th Street North. A 2017 GMC Acadia driven by Shelby R. Tietel, 29, New Ulm, was southbound on Minnesota St. when it collided with a 2014 Ford Focus driven by Paula K. Evers, 63, Lafayette, who was eastbound on 8th N., stopped, then proceeded with poor visibility due to high snow banks. Damage was minor to the right rear passenger side door and right rear wheel rim of the GMC and moderate to the Ford’s front bumper. Both drivers wore seat belts.

• Received a two-vehicle crash without injuries at U.S. Highway 14 and Jacobs St. in wet conditions at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday. A 2008 Honda Odyssey driven by Steven Sexton, 42, Mankato, collided with a 1997 Honda Accord driven by Noah Thompson, 17, who failed to yield right of way to Sexton. Damage was light the front end of the Odyssey and to the right side of the Accord. Both drivers wore seat belts.

Redwood County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a hit and run crash report at 726 Main St., Wabasso at 11:36 a.m. Feb. 25. Craig R. Palan, Wabasso, reported an unknown vehicle hit a 2007 Chevy Tahoe while it was parked on the east side of Integrity Bank Plus sometime after 11:30 a.m. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 507-637-4036.
