New Ulm Police

• Responded to a disturbance at 10:51 p.m. Thursday at Broadway Haus, 300 N. Broadway. A 56-year-old New Ulm woman having mental health issues was pounding on the wall. She refused to open the door to police but stopped pounding on the wall. A report went to Brown County Human Services.

• Responded to a suspicious activity call at a group home on Southridge Road at 9:44 p.m. Thursday. Staff wanted a 22-year-old Des Moines, Iowa male removed for having an inappropriate relationship with a 19-year-old New Ulm female. The male agreed to leave. A report went to Brown County Human Services.

• Responded to a scam/fraud report at 7:16 p.m. Thursday involving a 75-year-old New Ulm man having a dispute over charges with Comcast. It appeared the man’s account was hacked. Wells Fargo Bank froze his accounts. A $211.86 debt was removed. A report was done for documentation.
