• Community Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15 in German Park. Music will be provided by the Misfits starting at 7 p.m. Concerts are presented by the New Ulm Park and Rec Department and KNUJ Radio. Full schedule is available here: https://newulmmn.gov/277/Activities

• Fall Program Registration is now open. Registration available online at newulmmn.gov for programs including swimming lessons (start in September) as well as youth football, volleyball, tennis (starts in November), racquetball league and adult pottery.

• Fall Garage Sale will be held in the Civic Center on Saturday, Sept. 28. Those interested in being a vendor at the sale may register in person at the Rec Center.

• Skating at the Civic Center open skate: 1:15-2:45 p.m., Sundays; 11:30 a.m. to 1p .m. Mondays and Wednesdays.

• Open Volleyball at the Rec Center now through August during all open gym hours. Admission or membership required.

•Open Figure Skating available Mondays 1:15-2:30 p.m.

•Open Hockey at the Civic Center General 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4-5:30 p.m. PW/younger Wednesdays and 6:30-7:45 p.m. Bant/older Sundays thru August.

•Wading Pools open daily 12:30 to 6 p.m. through August 18

•North Park Splash Pad open daily 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Labor Day

•Indoor Pool and Locker Rooms will be shut down starting Monday Aug. 26 through Labor Day, September 2 for annual maintenance.

•Rec Center Labor Day Weekend Hours 7 a.m. to 12 noon, Saturday Aug. 31, closed all day Sunday and Monday Sept. 1 and 2.
