NUMC adds two new providers

NEW ULM — Allina Health announces two new providers are joining the team at the New Ulm Medical Center.

Nikki Stoffel-Lowis, CNS is licensed as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. She will see patients in neurology with an emphasis on pain.

“I like to investigate problems and offer solutions. I have worked as an ICU nurse and provided expertise in critical care areas,” Nikki says. “I have experience in working with patient with spine (neck/ back) pain, fibromyalgia, and neuropathies. I mostly enjoy helping people.”

Stoffel-Lowis earned her undergraduate nursing degree from South Dakota State University in 1997, and her graduate degree from Minnesota State University Mankato in 2011 with a degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).

Patricia de Loyal, PA-C is a certified physician assistant with a special interest in orthopedic and sports injuries. She will see patients in the New Ulm Medical Center Express Care (formerly Urgent Care). She says she favors preventative medicine and healthy lifestyle incorporating homeopathic treatments.

“I love to spend time with my kids exploring our beautiful State of Minnesota in every season such as hiking in state parks and going swimming in one of the many Minnesota lakes,” Patricia says. “Coming home to my ‘circus’ of four dogs gives me a good laugh and I enjoy playing with them daily.”

De Loyal earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2011 from the University of Texas at San Antonio and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2015 from University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.
