Newly-published ‘Fallen Angels’ written by New Ulm author

New Ulm author, poet, and artist, Barbara Bressler McKee, has had her first novel, “Fallen Angels” — an inspirational Christian romance — published, and it is available now in both Kindle and paperback versions exclusively at Amazon.com. At the age of 64, this is McKee’s first full-length work of fiction. She also created the cover art for the book, using crayons and gel pens. Following is a brief description of Fallen Angels:

For the past three years, ex-cop, Devon Santana, has been suffering from PTSD and blaming himself for a woman’s tragic demise at a horrifying crash scene. The lovely Jess Christenson is plagued by an anxiety disorder that has only worsened since her mother’s unexpected death around that same time. When Devon witnesses Jess stumble and fall, he perceives it as an opportunity to right the wrong from his past and rushes to her rescue. His need for redemption and her sprained ankle brings them together for one week, but when each tries to help the other overcome their inner demons, all hell breaks loose. Only through Divine intervention and an adopted puppy named Grace will these two “fallen angels” find forgiveness, healing, and a little piece of heaven in the most unlikely of circumstances.

Starting at $4.50/week.
