The Optimist Club of New Ulm recently donated $500 to the New Ulm High School FCCLA. Members of FCCLA Sage Wilfahrt and Abigail Houg attended the club’s meeting to personally thank members for the donation. Sage and Abigail are pictured with Jenny Janssen and Cindy Bode of the Optimist Club of New Ulm. The funds were used to purchase large-format games so the group can have regular game nights with seniors at local assisted living facilities. Some of the funds will also be used to provide supplies for letter writing campaigns and busing for the students to make a purchasing trip for Santa’s Closet.
