Comedian at State Street Theater Friday
NEW ULM — State Street Theater Co. welcomes “America’s Everyday Comedian,” C. Willi Myles, for a night of laughs on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7:30 pm.
A veteran performer, C. Willi Myles has the gift of connecting people with each other through humor and storytelling. After surviving his childhood growing up with nine sisters and one brother in Alabama, Willi moved to Minnesota to attend college and play football. With his stories about growing up in the south and acclimating to the cold of Minnesota, Willi gives a unique spin to life’s everyday challenges, applying humor to them.
$25 general admission tickets to the C. Willi Myles Comedy Club are now available for purchase at the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce, New Ulm Hy-Vee, and online at statestreetnewulm.org. A limited number of Comedy Club seats are also available for $35, or a table of eight for $280. Tickets for the Comedy Club include prime on-stage seating, a snack, and a beverage. Additionally, $10 Student Rush tickets will be available for purchase the night of the event beginning promptly at 7:15 p.m. Students wishing to purchase rush tickets must show their student I.D. The line for student rush tickets will form inside the front lobby doors at the table labeled “Student Rush Tickets.”
This event is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council and the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
