Caribou Coffee Concept Store opens in NU
General Manager Jenaya Posusta kept busy taking orders at the service counter while the drive thru was buzzing too. The lobby is open.
Operating hours are 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The store features cold press drinks, donuts glazed daily, fresh cookies served warm, and a variety of bagels and oatmeal.
Healthy options include oats and yogurt, almond butter and parfaits. Fruit and veggie dairy-free smoothies are blended on-site and made fresh daily.
Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are available any time of day.
“We’ve got high-quality coffee beans,” Posusta said. “This store is one of only five like it in Minnesota.”
Caribou advertises itself as the first major U.S. coffeehouse to serve 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee and expresso. All coffee continues to be small-batch roasted in Minnesota.
Store grand opening is Friday, March 19 with $1 off large of XL beverage purchases.
For every visitor this Saturday and Sunday, Caribou will donate $1 to the New Ulm Eagles Unified Booster club, benefitting all Eagle athletic programs.
