Lunch treat supports businesses, workers

NEW ULM — Gerald Woodley bought Thursday’s lunch for the New Ulm Postal Workers.

Woodley partnered with Ulmer Cafe to provide a free lunch to 22 essential workers. He said it is essential people get packages and letter during this difficult times.

“My hope is that someone else pays it forward by providing a lunch to other essential workers,” he said. “The Ulmer is great to work with to get this done.”

The word may already have spread. Ulmer Cafe has received few orders for house keeping staff and sanitation workers from other organization and individuals.

It is a great way to give back to workers who have already given so much, he sid.
