NEW ULM — A pop-up lemonade stand opened at Broadway and Center Street, Tuesday.

The stand was run by Natile Schwartz, Taryn Freier, Averi Freier, Megan Fingland and Nomie Friese all to benefit First Choice Pregnancy.

The lemonade stand was open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and received plenty of business in three hours.

In addition to lemonade, the stand sold a variety of cookies, cupcakes, brownies and Rice Krispie treats. Several items even sold out, such as the homemade cake balls, raseberry cupcakes, strawberry cupcakes and the Rolo cupcake.
