NEW ULM — The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed Snap Fitness into its new location with a special ribbon cutting.

Snap Fitness relocated to 319 N. Front St. Dec. 11, 2017. The 24-hour gym was previously located near Wal-mart in the current location of Shoe Senation.

The Willkommen Committee spoke with the owners Leah and Aaron Widmark about the business and getting the word out to members about the new location.

The new location also includes studio spaces for special fitness classes. The Widmarks said they were working to schedule taek won do classes in the space.

A special grand opening event is planned from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Snap Fitness.
