NEW ULM – Rural Morgan native Shari Peterson Fischer recently opened Fischer Law PA offices at the corner of 5th North and Broadway.

Fischer said her approach to practicing law is unique compared to many attorneys in that she is here to help clients plan their future, their family’s future.

“I have a rapidly growing practice focused on estate planning with extensive experience in diverse probate matters,” Fischer said. “I regularly counsel clients in farm, commercial and residential real estate and business law.”

Her legal practice areas include estate planning and settlement, farm, residential and commercial real estate, farm and non-farm business and collections.

Fischer’s community involvement includes 2014-2015 chairperson of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce board and Oak Hills Living Center Foundation board. She is also a Network New Ulm Youth Steering Committee Member, Chamber Board liaison and Junior Achievement classroom volunteer. She serves on the New Ulm Oktoberfest and New Ulm Women’s Networking Events planning committees.

Fischer graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, and summa cum laude in political science at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Her husband Cody Fischer farms with his brothers and owns and operates a heating, ventilation and air conditioning business.

In their spare time, the Fischers enjoy traveling and spending time at the lake with family, friends and Elvis, an English Bulldog.
