Generation Equipment
Installation. Major com-
ponents of the Work in-
clude:
Installation of a previ-
ously selected and
priced package of on-
site sodium hypo-
chlorite generator sys-
tem (OSHGS) equip-
ment. The package of
equipment is complete,
including but not limit-
ed to the following:
o OSHGS skid
(electrolytic cells,
transformer/rectifier,
control panel, water
heater, brine pump).
o Water softener and
accessories.
o Salt/Brine storage
tank and accessories.
o Sodium hypochlorite
solution storage tanks
and accessories.
o Hydrogen Gas
Dilution Blowers and
appurtenances.
In addition to installa-
tion of the above listed
OSGHS equipment
package, furnish and
install:
o Three (3) sodium
hypochlorite feed
pumps, pump shelves,
and chemical feed pip-
ing and appurte-
nances.
o Process piping,
valves, and appurte-
nances.
o Field wiring of
remote OSHGS equip-
ment to the OSHGS
skid.
o Electrical circuits
from the water treat-
ment plant electrical
system to the OSHGS
skid (rectifier, control
panel, and water
heater), and to the
sodium hypochlorite
feed pumps.
o Flexible chemical
feed tubing and carrier
pipes from the hypo-
chlorite feed pumps to
the application points.
o Salt fill piping on the
roof of the existing
chemical storage

performance coatings
on the chemical room
floor and portions of
the chemical room
walls.
