• Felony 2nd-degree burglary, and two felony receiving stolen property charges were filed Aug. 30, 2023 against Tremaine Randall Wurtzberger-Krienke, 21, Wyoming State Penitentiary, Rawlins, Wy.
According to court documents, New Ulm Police called a witness, the owner of Source Comics & Games, Roseville March 1, 2021 because comic book theft investigations led them to find an individual with comic book community knowledge. The witness said he bought comic books from a couple of males Feb. 8, 2021 that police believe were stolen from a New Ulm residence.
The individual said Wurtzberger-Krienke and Fernando Augusto Miranda sold the comics to his store and that a third, younger male was with them. The individual said Wurtzberger-Krienke did all the talking and that he bought about $1,845 worth of comic books from them for $738. The individual provided photo ID copies he made of Wurtzberger-Krienke and Miranda plus check register and cash register amounts showing payouts of $385 to Wurtzberger-Krienke and $353 to Miranda.
New Ulm Police were dispatched by radio alarm to a New Ulm residence on July 26, 2021 and had responded to multiple burglary reports at the residence. Miranda and Wurtzberger-Krienke were in the residence and arrested.
Wurtzberger-Krienke admitted he entered the residence to burglarize it and admitted to previous burglaries there.
• Felony 3rd-degree drug possession-methamphetamine in in a park zone, felony 3rd-degree drug possession one or more mixtures containing methamphetamine, a schedule 1 or II narcotic in a school zone, felony 5th-degree drug possession-not small amount marijuana, gross misdemeanor 5th degree drug possession-not small amount marijuana, misdemeanor liquor consumption by persons under 21 and disorderly conduct charges were filed Aug. 29, 2023 against Matthew Joseph Kiecker, 18, 1205 Minnesota Street N., New Ulm and Dawson M. Schiller, 19, 113 Valley Street South, New Ulm.
According to court documents, New Ulm Police Patrolwoman Christina Wright was dispatched to the Brown County Fairgrounds, 1201 State St. N. at 3:09 a.m. Aug. 11, 2023 for two intoxicated juveniles refusing the leave the fairgrounds. Officer Wright saw two males in front of the fairgrounds gate who started to walk away when they saw the squad vehicle. Officer Wright identified them as Schiller and Kiecker.
Kiecker swore at Officer Wright. After refusing at first, he later agreed to take a preliminary breath test (PBT) that read .183. Schiller’s PBT read .209. Officer Miller found a small clear baggie of what appeared to be narcotics that weighed .6 grams including the baggie, in the squad car, that showed a positive result for methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl. The fairgrounds is adjacent to the Washington Learning Center.
