• Elijah Llovera, 25, Arlington, appeared for a Rule 8 Hearing on charges alleging fifth degree possession of a controlled substance and domestic assault. He requested an omnibus hearing, which the court scheduled for June 25, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Pending that hearing, Llovera was released on the same conditions of release as previously ordered, which include not using or possessing alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances.

• Angela Marie Peterson, age 51, of Gaylord, MN, appeared in Sibley County District Court for an Omnibus Hearing on a charge alleging Felony Theft. The defendant waived all omnibus issues. The court scheduled a settlement conference for August 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. and a jury trial for August 25, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. Pending those hearings, the defendant was released on the same conditions of release as previously ordered.

• Donald Arnold Arneson, age 58, of Arlington, MN, appeared in Sibley County District Court for an Admit/Deny Hearing on allegations that he violated the terms of his probation on an underlying offense of Fifth Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance. The defendant admitted to violating the terms of his probation. The court reinstated the defendant on probation with the same terms and conditions as previously ordered, but with the additional requirements that the defendant serve 60 days in the Sibley County Jail and that he gets a chemical use assessment and follow all recommendations.

•Kristi Sue Whitman, 54, Hamburg, MN, appeared for a Rule 8 hearing on a charge alleging driving after cancellation Inimical to Public Safety. She requested an omnibus hearing, which the court set for June 25, 2020 at 9:45 a.m. Pending that hearing, Whitman was released on the same conditions of release as previously ordered.

•Sean Wildon Strong, Jr., 28, New Ulm, appeared for an admit/deny hearing on allegations that he violated the terms of his probation on an underlying offense of third-degree assault. He admitted to violating the terms of his probation. His probation was reinstated with the same terms and conditions as previously ordered, but with the additional requirement that he complete chemical dependency treatment and aftercare.

•Hunter Allen Keck, 23, Glencoe, appeared for an admit/deny hearing on allegations he violated the terms of his probation on an underlying offense of second-degree conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. He admitted to violating the terms of his probation. He was sentenced to 24-months imprisonment, beginning immediately.

•Lucas James Brown, age 26, of Winthrop, MN, appeared in Sibley County District Court for an Omnibus Hearing on a charge alleging Felony Theft. The defendant waived all omnibus issues. The court scheduled a Settlement Conference for August 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. and a Jury Trial for August 25, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. Pending those hearings, the defendant was released on the same conditions of release as previously ordered.
