WABASSO — Wabasso scored a season-high 110 points in a a 110-42 win over Canby Monday in a nonconference boys basketball game.

Brayden Guetter led the Rabbits with 30 points and six rebounds, while Caden Frericks had 19 points and 14 rebounds. Drew Kemp had 17 points and seven assists with four steals, and Brooks Baune had 11 points while Brady Baune had 10 points.

Wabasso (14-0) plays at Springfield on Tuesday.

Springfield 98, BOLD 23

SPRINGFIELD — Springfield cruised by BOLD 98-23 in a nonconference boys basketball game on Monday.

Bryan Buerkle led the tigers with 22 points and nine rebounds, while Parker Kuehn had 17 points and four rebounds. Dylan Simonson had 12 points and three rebounds, while Isaac Fredin had 10 points and three steals.

Springfield (10-3) hosts Springfield on Tuesday.

Nicollet 78, Madelia 33

MADELIA — Nicollet rolled Madelia 78-33 in a Valley Conference girls basketball game on Monday.

Jazmyn Goettlicher led the Raiders with 20 points, eight steals and four assists, whiel Megan Soost had 18 points and 16 rebounds. Cheyenne Klockziem had 14 points, and Zoie Rengstorf added 10 points, four steals and three assists. Shelby Beyer had 10 points.

No statistics were reported for Madelia.

Nicollet (9-6, 6-1) plays at Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey in Comfrey on Monday, while Madelia (0-16, 0-8) hosts Cleveland on Thursday.

BOLD 95, Springfield 44

SPRINGFIELD — BOLD downed Springfield 95-44 in a nonconference girls basketball game on Monday.

Jada Reese had 15 points for the Tigers, while Olivia Milbrath had 12.

GRANITE FALLS — Yellow Medicine East defeated Wabasso 57-50 in a nonconference girls basketball game on Monday.

Kenley Guetter had 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Rabbits, while Elizabeth Morin had 14 points, five assists, five steals and six rebounds. Ava Samyn added 10 points and six rebounds.

Wabasso (6-12) hosts Springfield on Tuesday.
