Longsox shut out Indians

SLEEPY EYE — The Lamberton Longsox shut out the Sleepy Eye Indians 7-0 on Friday night in Tomahawk East League amateur baseball action.

Lamberton was led at te play by Luke Wilhite and Tyler Reiner, who each had a pair of hits. Wilhite also drove in a pair of runs, while Isaac Jenniges added a pair of RBIs.

Shane Schoborg got the complete-game win on the mound, giving up just one hit and two walks while fanning six.

Sleepy Eye’s lone hit came off the bat of Matt Mielke. Matt Sellner took the loss in six innings of work, giving up three earned runs on five hits and four walks.
