NEW ULM — Worthington blanked New Ulm in the regular-season finale at New Ulm High School on Friday night.

New Ulm’s Ethan Lieb had 14 saves for the Eagles.

WORTHINGTON — New Ulm defeated Worthington in a Big South Conference girls’ soccer game on Friday night.

New Ulm got an early goal right away when Paige Kalis scored at 1:11 into the game. Bryn Nesvold assisted on the goal. After that, the New Ulm defense held the lead the rest of the way.

Kendra Nesvold had nine saves for the Eagles in their regular-season finale. They will find out who they will play in the Section 2A playoffs and begin action next week.
