New Ulm Legion Gold

• Ranweiler helped lead New Ulm Legion Gold to a second-place finish last week at the Gopher Classic, the best finish ever for New Ulm.

• He went 3 for 4 with a run scored on Sunday in a 6-1 victory over Wausau.

• On Monday against Watertown, he was 2 for 3 with two RBIs in a 7-1 win and he followed that up with a 2 for 3 game and two runs scored in a 5-4 victory over Edina.

• On Tuesday, he was 2 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI in a 7-1 win over Omaha Burke to help Gold reach the finals, where they lost 9-3 to Wayzata.
