NEW ULM — The Minnesota Soorts Federation (MSF) Class 14AAA Youth Baseball 2017 state tournament begins Saturday morning at Johnson and Mueller Parks in New Ulm and at the Essig baseball park.

Teams from New Ulm, Northfield, Albert Lea, Mankato, Shoreview, Farmington, Pierz, Elgin, Minnetonka, Wayzata, St. Michael-Albertville, Cottage Grove, Alexandria and Anoka begin play in four different pools with the state consolaton and championships set for Sunday.

All games in pool play have 2-hour time limits. Games for consolaton and championship games will be regulation games.

Games begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at the three sites and with the last games at 7 p.m.

There is no admission fee for these games.
