Worst of the worst

To the editor: I have heard a justification for ICE rounding up thousands of Latinos, Somalis, and other ethnic minorities. Proponents of ICE have labeled these dark-skinned people as the “worst of the worst,” and Americans should be happy with their disappearance, even if we suffer some collateral damage (i.e. Renee Good and Alex Pretti). I suppose that we would find some violent criminals among these minorities. I doubt the criminal element is the 70 percent that Kristi Noem claims. To the editor: As local Catholics, we submit this response to the Jan. 21 editorial entitled a “Catholic call to conscience on immigration.” Word count limitations on letter to the editor submissions prevent us from addressing all of the assertions alleged in the Jan. 21 editorial. Year-round E15: Good for everyone

To the editor: Instead of Congressional leadership choosing to keep language about year-round E15 availability nationwide in the last funding bill, congressional leadership chose to remove. ‘It’s Miller time’

To the editor: I’m not a beer drinker. I’m sure I’ve never uttered this proclamation before. But now that I’ve done so in print, I must explain that the “Miller time” to which I’m referring is that it’s time for Stephen Miller to go. Miller is the puppeteer behind the scenes pulling the 2025 strings. He’s sending the president out to do his real estate deals, which the President believes is his particular bailiwick.
