To the editor: Donald Trump has been politicking for a Nobel Peace Prize. The Nobel people have not cooperated. If we check events in and around Iran, Venezuela, Cub and Greenland during the last two months, we can understand their reluctance. Contrast these events with the last presidential election. To the editor: I am writing in appreciation for Sarah Schnieder’s column that was in The Journal’s Feb. 25 edition. It was beautifully written. Sarah was speaking from the heart. The story connecting the church of her youth and her chosen church of now touched me and several of my friends. It was a reminder that man makes laws and political structures, but ultimately Jesus our Savior is who we follow. To the editor: I listened to 47’s address at the World Economic Forum. I’d like a redacted copy of his speech. The redactions would be for the lies and insults that he uttered with machine gun rapidity.
