To the editor:

This week we were saddened to read about the impending closure of the Bailey Creek Boutique.  

In just seven short years, Bailey Creek became synonymous and emblematic of the resurgence of downtown New Ulm, and yet it seems like it’s always been there.  

Make no doubt about it, Bailey Creek will be sorely missed by the many good people who visit New Ulm every year.

We wish Wendy, Susie, and Elaine God’s richest blessings in their next step and we send Sandy Reinke a big thank you for venturing out seven years ago.  Being in business is challenging today.  Your desire to begin a new chapter in the book of life Sandy is certainly understandable.
