God called me to run for public office
To the editor:
I am running for the School Board. God has a plan for each of us, and he does not hide his will. I believe God has called me to this. I may not win, but that part is in his hands. My husband has asked me not to campaign, so if The Journal will allow it, I will share my opinion about things through the local paper.
If you get a few people together, I would love to meet to share my ideas, hopes and concerns. I am a bridge-builder. My comfort zone includes people of all sectors.
I feel I can help our community come together during these divisive days and help the school board meet the needs of all the students it represents.
