Kept The Journal an open forum
To the editor:
Thank you, Kevin Sweeney, for all your years of exemplary service to the New Ulm Journal. You allowed people with different viewpoints to share them. In our age of accusations of “misinformation!” that eventually turn out to be truth (on both sides of the opinion spectrum), you kept the New Ulm Journal an open forum of expression.
I look forward to continuing to read various opinions in The Journal. Freedom of speech is under attack, and it is important in every community to have a newspaper where people can meet to share their opinions. Good luck in your retirement!
