NEW ULM–Margaret “Marge” Hames, age 87, of New Ulm died on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Hillcrest Rehabilitation Center in Mankato surrounded by her children. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. Monsignor Douglas Grams will celebrate the Mass. Burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery, Soldier’s Rest section. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes – North Chapel in New Ulm. Visitation will continue from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the North Chapel. A full obituary will be featured in The Journal at a later date. Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm is assisting the family with arrangements.
