An ever-increasing clientele and the entering of Dr. Edwin F. Wohlrabe, Minneapolis, in the Vogel-Seifert clinic Monday of next week, necessitates additional room in offices on the second floor of the Vogel block, which is occupied by the Muesing drug store on the first floor.

Dr. Jos. H. Vogel, owner, has contemplated extending the building 85-feet to the alley for some time, and during the past several months has had architects busy drawing up plans for the rearrangement of the second floor, in the present building, as well as the addition. Ground for the addition, which will be erected in the rear of the Muesing drug store and be 85Ö23 feet, was broken Tuesday, and work will be pushed rapidly toward completion.

New Member in Clinic.

The new addition to the Vogel block, 85Ö23 feet, will extend to the alley from the Muesing drug store, and will be two stories with full basement. The first floor and basement has been leased by J. A. Ochs & Son, proprietors of the Bee Hive. The first floor will be fitted up as a ready-to-wear department. It is understood that new fixtures of the latest design, have been ordered and will be installed in the new room, which will be entered from a large opening on the north side in the rear of the present Bee Hive quarters. The basement will also be fitted up for occupancy by the Bee Hive.

Second Floor.

The second floor of the Vogel block will be entirely remodeled and the whole, comprising 165×23 feet, including the new addition, 85×23 feet, will be rearranged for offices of the Vogel-Seifert clinic, and Drs. Miller& Groebner, dentists. The rear of the second story of the building, occupied at present by the State Bond and Mortgage Co. and Somsen, Dempsey & Flor, lawyers, will also be remodeled for additional quarters for Somsen, Dempsey & Flor, and for J.R. Higgs, general agent of the Equitable Life Insurance Co. of Iowa. This building is occupied by the Bee Hive on the first floor and is owned by Alf. J. Vogel.

The present partitions in the second floor of the Dr. Vogel block will be eliminated and this story will be entirely rearranged.

Four rooms in the front of the building will be fitted for occupancy by Drs. C. W. Miller and Alf. Groebner, dentists.

These rooms will adjoin a common waiting room, 26Ö23 feet, which will also be used by the Vogel-Seifert clinic.

Extending the full length of the south side of the building, from the dental offices to the rear, will be a corridor, which will give easy access to the waiting room, office, private offices of the doctors of the clinic, operating room, X-ray room and electrical room.
