COURTLAND–Magnus James Hans, age 3, of Courtland passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 with his loving family by his side. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1 p.m. on Magnus’s birthday, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – North Chapel in New Ulm. Visitation will continue from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the North Chapel. Magnus’s family would like to encourage everyone to wear orange or superhero attire to celebrate his life and birthday. A full obituary will be featured in Wednesday’s edition of The Journal.
