Visitation will be on Thursday, January 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home, Pilgrim Chapel and will continue on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church-Madelia.

Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church-Madelia, on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Madelia at a later date.

Mark “Sparky” Charles Blanchard was born July 3, 1958 to Janice and Charles Blanchard in Virginia, MN.

Mark is survived by his wife, Lynn Blanchard; daughters, Jessica Holm, Jenny Ortloff; sons, Jason Blanchard, Josh Blanchard; nine grandchildren; a great-grandson; his mother, Janice Ulmen; sisters, Jean Simshauser, Carol Greiner, and half-brother, Charles Blanchard II.
