Priscilla A. Zobel

NEW ULM — Priscilla A. Zobel, age 46, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 27, 2019 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Burial will be in the New Ulm City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday and 9-10:30 am on Wednesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-SOUTH Chapel in New Ulm.

Priscilla is survived by her husband, Lyle; sons, Scott Zobel of Mankato and Erik Zobel of New Ulm; parents, Gene & Betty Kraus of New Ulm; brother, Todd (Rose) Kraus of Redwood Falls; sisters-in-law, LaRae Lueck of St. James, Lisa Royston of New Um, and Linda (Richard) Wengert of Amboy; mother-in-law, Rosemary Zobel of New Ulm; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Howard “Pete” Zobel; and a brother-in-law, Linus Zobel.

Priscilla Ann Kraus was born on April 26, 1973 in New Ulm to Gene and Betty (Habeck) Kraus. She attended and graduated from New Ulm High School in 1992. Priscilla was united in marriage to Lyle Zobel on April 1, 2016 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. She was currently working at Dairy Queen in New Ulm. Priscilla also volunteered her time at Pro Kinship and at the VFW. She loved doing crosswords, watching TV, playing Bingo, spending time with family and friends, and raising her two dogs, Minnie and Derby. Priscilla will be missed by those who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
