Laurene Betty Rewoldt was born in Austin, Minnesota on January 21, 1946, the daughter of Lyle and Vincie Rewoldt. Laurie was confirmed in the American Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 7, 1957 and graduated from Osseo High School in 1964.

On June 21, 1969, she married Dr. Robert L. Mersch at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fairfax, and their marriage was blessed with two sons.

Laurie leaves behind her husband, Dr. Robert L. Mersch, he son Michael and his wife Cristiane, her son Daniel and his wife Jennifer, and her four granddaughters: Giovanna Manuela, Sophia Grace, Isabella Rose and Reagan Nicole. She is preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no public service at this time but there will be a committal service and interment at a later date. The family is grateful for the condolences but declines flowers or donations.
