New Ulm Police • Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 12th North and Minnesota Street at 4:54 p.m. Friday. A 2005 Honda Accord driven northbound on Minnesota St. by Natalie Schumann, 17, failed to stop at the 12th North intersection and collided with a 2010 Ford F150 driven westbound on 12th North by Jeffrey Havemeier, 37, New Ulm. No injuries reported. Both drivers wore seat belts. Damage was moderate to both vehicles. New Ulm Police • Received a skip scan self-checkout theft report from Wal-Mart at 7 p.m. Tuesday. A 31-year-old Staples man is suspected of stealing $24.26 worth of items July 7. A report for consideration of theft charges went to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office. • Received a skip scan self-checkout theft report from Wal-Mart at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday. A 39-year-old Gibbon man and 35-year-old Gibbon woman are suspected of stealing $39.70 worth of items from May 11 to Sept. 15. A 2007 Chevrolet driven by Marie Thiede, 62, New Ulm, was northbound on Jefferson St. when it collided with a 2018 Jeep driven westbound on 6th North by Brandy Kuck, 50, Hanska. Both drivers had minor injuries and wore seat belts.
