Redwood County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 11:48 p.m. Tuesday on CSAH 7 near 400th, just north of Belview. Dinny Yang, Raymond, was driving a 1996 Toyota T100 northbound on CSAH 7, said he fell asleep behind the wheel, woke up, over-corrected, rolled twice and came to a rest in the ditch. Yang wore a seat belt and said he was not injured. No impairment signs were observed. No citations given. The vehicle was towed due to more than $1,000 damage.
New Ulm Police
• Took a report at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday of office space being broken into overnight in the old Herberger’s building on the 100 block of Minnesota St. N. Officers spoke with the owner, who said individuals got into his server room and pulled a bunch of wires. No damage estimate was provided. Report for documentation.
• Officers responded to an active domestic report at 11:46 p.m. Tuesday. Officers spoke with 27-year-old New Ulm women who stated her husband, a 31-year-old New Ulm man, had been drinking and was aggressive with her. The women stated her fingers and arm were slightly injured in the altercation. The man was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. He was issued a citation for Misdemeanor domestic assault. A report was sent to Brown County Human Services, Probation, and the City Attorney’s office.
