Minnesota State Patrol
• Responded to a one-vehicle crash with injuries on State Highway 68 near Kenwood Avenue, at 11:04 p.m. Nov. 17. Kimberly Ann Noheart, 51, St. Peter, was driving a 2002 Honda Civic westbound on Highway 68 when it rolled and entered the westbound ditch near Kenwood Avenue. Noheart was transported to Centra Care Redwood Falls Hospital by Centra Care Ambulance. She wore a seat belt. The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Wabasso Medical and Fire assisted.
New Ulm Police
• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without reported injuries at 10:14 a.m. Nov. 14 at Broadway and 3rd North Street. Denise Ann Borson, 63, New Ulm was driving a 2018 KIA Soul northbound on Broadway that collided with the rear end of a 2015 Ford F150 driven southbound by Ryan Mark Ziemer, 46, Courtland. Ziemer attempted to turn left onto 3rd North and stopped in the northbound lane of Broadway for a pedestrian crossing 3rd North Street. Damage was moderate, disabling to the KIA and moderate, not disabling tro the Ford. Both drivers wore seat belts.
• Spoke with a 40 and 43-year-old men, both of New Ulm at 11:58 a.m. Tuesday, who turned a package delivered to their residence that contained two other packages that both had about 4 pounds of Adderall pills. The case was turned over to investigations and the drug task force.
• Responded to New Ulm Medical Center for a report of a possible HRO (harassment restraining order) violation at 6:17 p.m. Sunday. Officers talked to a 49-year-old Sleepy Eye woman who said her 7-year-old son was brought to the hospital by his father, a 49-year-old Gibbon man. The father would not let the mother be alone with the boy. The mother has an HRO against the father who said he never spoke with the mother. A report was done for documentation.
• Met a 26-year-old New Ulm woman at 11:46 a.m. Saturday who was a scam victim. The woman thought she was talking with a potential landlord who asked for a $500 deposit to be paid via Apple gift cards. After sending the cards, the woman was asked for another $300, which she sent to the scammer. A report was done for documentation.
• Took a report of garage door damage on the 100 block of Payne St. North at 8:06 a.m. Saturday. A 47-year-old New Ulm man said green paint was splattered over two white garage doors. Damage was estimated at $2,470. No paint cans were found. A report was done for documentation.
• Responded to an assault report at 3 a.m. Saturday near the corner of 4th Street North and Minnesota St. Officers spoke with a 19-year-old New Ulm male with injuries but could not identify the suspect. Unsuccessful identification attempts were made the next day. The complainant left the area.
Sibley County Sheriff’s Office
• Responded to a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 25 just south of 196th Street, about a mile south of Green Isle at 6:26 p.m. Nov. 13. A 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven northbound by Daniel Hughes, 45, Arlington, collided with a deer. Hughes and a passenger, Nicole Rademacher, 41, Arlington, wore seat belts and were not transported from the crash. Vehicle damage was moderate but operable and were not towed.
