New Ulm Police

• Responded to a disturbance report at 2:10 p.m. Saturday on the 400 block of State St. S. A 61-year-old New Ulm man told police he and his wife, a 56-year-old New Ulm woman, got into a physical altercation. No injuries were detected. The man was arrested for violating probation conditions. He was transported to detox. Reports were sent to Brown County Probation and the city attorney’s office for review of domestic assault against the man and woman.

• Responded to a report of marijuana use, alcohol consumption and fighting around young children on the 1100 block of Jefferson St. S. at 1:15 a.m. Sunday. A very intoxicated 33-year-old New Ulm woman denied a physical or verbal altercation. A 28-year-old New Ulm man said his wife hit him. She was arrested and transported to detox. Reports were sent to the Brown County Human Services, Brown County Probation, the Committee Against Domestic Abuse (CADA) and the city attorney’s office. Suggested charges are domestic assault and disorderly conduct.

• A 36-year-old New Ulm woman living on Garden St. N. told police at 5:13 p.m. Sunday that her ex-husband, a 47-year-old homeless man, violated an harassment restraining order by texting her. A report went to the city attorney.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on 411th Avenue and 180th Lane in Green Isle Township. The driver of a 2017 Ford F350 was southbound on 411th Avenue, suffered a medical episode and drove into the southbound ditch, suffering minor injuries. Two juvenile passengers were not injured. The Green Isle Fire Department and Allina Ambulance assisted.
