New Ulm Police

• Stopped a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old St. James resident at Broadway and 14th Street South at 3:25 p.m. Friday. The driver was cited for no driver’s license and no child restraint device.

• Performed a welfare check at the Broadway Haus, 300 N. Broadway at 5:31 p.m. Friday. A 56-year-old New Ulm woman was reported to be yelling. She talked to police. No damage or injuries reported. A report went to Brown County Human Services.

• Cited a 85-year-old New Ulm man for speeding 47 mph on a 30 mph zone on Highland Avenue and Stoneridge Road at 8:44 a.m. Saturday.

• Stopped a vehicle driven by a 28-year-old Sleepy Eye male at 9:04 a.m. Saturday at 7th North and Broadway. A report for consideration of an open cannabis package in a motor vehicle went to the Brown County Attorney’s Office.

• Responded to a report of a minor physical incident involving 14-year-old and 15-year-old youth on a school bus on the 1000 block of Front Street south at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. One youth complained of a headache. A report went the Brown County Attorney’s Office.
