• Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 6:18 a.m. Friday on Highway 19, Severance Township, Sibley County. Ujah Favour, 28, St. Paul, was driving a 2009 Kia Sorento westbound, lost control on snow and ice and rolled into the ditch. Favour was transported to Ridgeview Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He wore a seat belt. Alcohol was not involved. The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office, Gibbon Fire Dept. and Winthrop EMS assisted.

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 7:35 a.m. Friday. A Christian William Groetken, 27, Yankton, S.D. was driving a 1995 Ford F250 eastbound on Highway 60. Tonya Terry Wallert, 55, Mountain Lake, was driving a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound on Highway 60 when they collided on snow and ice. Wallert was transported to St. James Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both drivers wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. The Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office, Butterfield Fire Dept. and St. James Ambulance assisted.
