New Ulm Police

• Received a report of a two-vehicle crash without injuries in light snow at 5th N. and State at 8:11 a.m. Nov. 17. Patricia A. Radloff, 57, rural New Ulm, was driving a 2016 Ford Explorer westbound on 5th North. She tried to turn left onto State Street, failed to yield right of way and turned into the path of an eastbound 2014 Volkswagon Jetta driven by Kelly R. Schmidt. Both drivers wore seat belts. Damage was moderate to both vehicles.

• Received a report of a two-vehicle crash without injuries on the 500 block of 1st St. N. at 7:03 p.m. Nov. 16. Terry Turbes, 44, New Ulm, was driving a 2004 Chevy Impala and Anthony Bruns, 37, New Ulm, was driving a 2005 Dodge Ram, both westbound on 1st N., Both were turning right onto Broadway to head north when a rear passenger tire of Brun’s vehicle hit the driver’s side headlight of Turbes’ car. The Impala driver’s side headlight was damaged. The truck was not damaged.

Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a report of a car-deer crash report without human injuries at 9:37 p.m. Nov. 16 on CR 27 near CR 12, Milford Township. A 17-year-old New Ulm male was collided with a deer that died in the crash.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Received a report of a one-vehicle crash with injuries on snow and ice at 7:03 a.m. Nov. 17 on U.S. Highway 169, Lake Prairie township, Nicollet County. Luis A. Vasquez Huezo, 44, St. Paul, was driving a 2005 Chevy Express van southbound on Highway 169, when he lost control, entered the ditch and hit a tree. Two passengers, Carlos David R. Vasquez, 24, St. Paul; and Remberto O. Vasquez, 30, St. Paul, were transferred to Northfield Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Huezo, Humberto Vargas Sanchez, 42, St. Paul; Martir Israel Vasquez Hueszo, 36, St. Paul; and Elmin Vasquez Huezo, 46, St. Paul were hospitalized with nonlife threatening injuries. St. Peter Firefighters, the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office, Ridgeview, Alina and Le Sueur Medical assisted. Carlos and Remberto Vasquez did not wear seat belts.
