Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Responded to a pickup truck-cow crash without reported injuries at 9:31 p.m. Oct. 25 on CR 30 and 320th Avenue, Eden Township. Kerry McCray, 66, Hector, was driving a 1999 Ford F150 eastbound on CR 30 when he collided with a cow. The truck was towed away. The cow died in the crash. The sheriff’s office found the owners of the cow who removed it from the road.

New Ulm Police

• Responded to a physical domestic assault report at 8:38 p.m. Oct. 25 at 15 N. State between a 24-year-old Rochester woman and a 28-year-old New Ulm man. The man was cited for misdemeanor domestic assault and transported to detox. Both parties refused medical attention. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a vandalism report at 7:37 a.m. Oct. 26 at 425 State St. N. A 28-year-old New Ulm man said his truck was keyed and had two flat tires. Two New Ulm male suspects, ages 31 and 39, denied being involved. Damage was estimated at more than $1,000.

• Received a criminal damage to property report at 8:29 a.m. Oct. at the New Fire Dept., 526 8th St. N. A west window was reported damaged. A damage estimate was not available.

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash without injuries at Center and Valley St. at 9:25 a.m. Oct. 26. Rebekah A. Markgraf, 84, New Ulm, was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion that hit a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Loren J. Gleisner, 57, Gibbon, when he pulled into the intersection. Damage was moderate to the front bumper of the Ford and minor to the rear bumper of the Chevrolet.

Springfield Police

• Received a fuel theft drive-off report at Fuel Max, 221 Rock St. W. at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 25. An older 2000 black or green Chevy Trailblazer drove off after pumping $55.04 worth of fuel and headed west on U.S. Highway 14.
