Brown County

Sheriff’s Office

• Stopped a vehicle on Shag Road, Cottonwood Township at 9:19 p.m. Dec. 27. A 49-year-old New Ulm man was arrested on a Brown County arrest warrant. A report was sent to Brown County Probation.

New Ulm Police

• Received a vandalism report at 2121 Center at 6:06 p.m. Dec. 27. A mailbox was damaged, possibly by a vehicle. Damage was estimated at $100. A report was done for documentation.

Sibley County

Sheriff’s Office

• Responded at 3 a.m. Dec. 27 to a single-vehicle crash without injuries near the intersection of State Highway 15 and CR 33, south of Winthrop. Christy Porter, 60, Winthrop, was southbound on TH 15 where she lost control, traveled into the oncoming lane, entered the northbound ditch and hit a power pole and causing her vehicle to be inoperable. She wore a seat belt.

State Patrol

• Received a one-vehicle crash report at 10:05 a.m. Dec. 27 on U.S. Highway 212 at 545th Street, Preston Lake Township, Renville County. Hannah M. Larson, 22, Inver Grove Heights, was driving a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound on snow and ice on Highway 212, left the road and rolled into the ditch. She was transported to a Glencoe hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Buffalo Lake Ambulance and Fire Dept. and Renville County Sheriff’s Office assisted. She wore a seat belt. Alcohol was not involved.

• Received a one-vehicle crash report at 10:16 a.m. Dec. 27 on U.S. Highway 71 north of Windom, Amboy Township, Cottonwood County. Ella R. Nickel, 17, Jeffers, was driving a 2004 Ford Ranger northbound, left the road and rolled. She was transported to a Windom hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She wore a seat belt. Alcohol was not involved. The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
