Sibley County

Sheriff’s Office

• Received a call at 1:17 a.m. Tuesday about a single-vehicle rollover involving a semi on County Road 8, 3-4 miles east of State Highway 22. En route, a deputy learned the driver, Timothy Millhouse, 50, Ellendale, was transported to Ridgeview Sibley Medical Center in Arlington by a passer-by. A deputy found the rolled-over semi and trailer on 491st Avenue, just north of 330th Street, Sibley Township.

It was later learned that Millhouse was eastbound on County Road 8 just north of Lafayette to Montgomery with a sweet corn load, entered the curves on 491st Avenue, lost control, entered the east ditch and rolled, spilling corn into a ditch. The truck was heavily damaged. Millhouse was treated and released. The Gaylord Fire Department and Affordable Towing assisted. The crash is under investigation.
