State Patrol

• Responded to a single-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries in wet conditions at 3:44 p.m. Sunday on Highway 99, Nicollet Township, Nicollet County. A 2014 Dodge Journey driven by Allan P. Binder, 54, Gibbon, was westbound on Highway 99, left the road, entered the north ditch, hit a sign and field approach. Binder was transported to New Ulm Medical Center. A passenger, Christine A. Binder, 52, Gibbon, was not injured. Alcohol was not involved. The Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Clinic Ambulance assisted.

New Ulm Police

• Received a report of animal abuse at 2:58 p.m. Monady. A 14-year-old male was reported abusing a small dog. Police were provided with a video of the abuse. Officers spoke with the boy’s mom and the case was refered to the Brown County attorney.

• Received a trespassing complaint at 1:21 p.m. Tuesday. A 39-year-old Courtland man entered his ex-girlfriend’s garage on the 600th block of South German Street without permisison causing damage to the door and damaging other items in the garage. The damage is estimated at $800.
