Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a one-vehicle crash report on Scenic Byway Road at 291st Avenue, four miles west of Belle Plaine at 11:13 p.m. Sunday. A 2004 Mack 70 dump truck driven by Shannon Kotasek, 43, Henderson, was westbound on Scenic Byway Road and met a white SUV that was partially in his traffic lane. Kotasek braked and swerved in an attempt to avoid a crash and went into the ditch. The front end of the truck was damaged but Kotasek was not injured. He wore a seat belt. Sleepy Eye Police

• Received a driving complaint at 800 Water St. S.W. at 1:03 p.m. Monday., A black SUV driven by a 19 or 20-year-old Hispanic male hit a tree. Vehicle and tree damage were minor. Police are looking for the driver.
