New Ulm Police

• Damaged pavement at 700 Broadway St. N. was reported to police, Friday at 4:14 p.m. Nearby construction firms were questioned and denied causing the damage.

• A man at the Brown County Evaluation Center was detained on two Blue Earth County warrants Friday at 6:30 p.m. No incidents reported while transporting him to the Law Enforcement Center.

• Police received a reporte Friday at 7:56 p.m. of a theft from Kwik Trip. A small item valued at $20 to $25 was taken. The theft is still under investigation.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision Friday at 6:37 p.m. Melvin Brandon Zuniga Arias, 22, was southbound on Broadway in a 1998 Buick LeSabre when Jane Marie Grundmeyer, 73, drove westbound on 6th N. St. in a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer and the two collided. The Trailblazer sustained minor damage to the front passenger-side bumper. Minor damage to the rear driver-side was sustained by the LeSabre.
